Friendly local greeters lined the arrival area, volunteers with the Convention not there for any particular passenger, just greeting DNCC delegates & guests. Everything went pretty smoothly at Denver Int'l Airport, got our bags, boarded a Super Shuttle loaded with delegates and one poor lonely "regular" guy, and Patti & I were the first ones dropped off. A group of Oklahoma delegates rode with us...and they know Jim Roth very well.
A giant sign on the side of the hotel greeted us with "Red Lion Welcomes DNC" and we got checked in fairly quickly. (Hotel review will come later.)
We got to our room just as the Obama/Biden announcement was airing live on TV...of course we tuned in right away. Great announcement event, they look like a formidable team together!
